With Braylie On The Mound, Jersey Assassins 16U Shuts Out Monroe Thunder 16U

Braylie LaFisca threw a gem on Saturday for Jersey Assassins 16U, allowing zero runs and besting Monroe Thunder 16U by a score of 7-0.

Jersey Assassins 16U secured the victory thanks to four runs in the second inning. Jersey Assassins 16U batters contributing to the big inning included Lily Nucera, Sophia Centanni, and Brooke Bauer, who all drove in runs.

Jersey Assassins 16U opened up scoring in the first inning, when Katie Mulry singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Jersey Assassins 16U scored four runs in the second inning. Jersey Assassins 16U’s offense in the inning came from a walk by Nucera, a single by Centanni, and a groundout by Bauer.

One bright spot for Monroe Thunder 16U was a single by #15 in the first inning.
