Assassins 16U Takes the Game Over North Bergen 18U in a Blow-Out Victory, 17-4

Assassins 16U had all cylinders firing on offense on Saturday, winning big over North Bergen 18U 17-4.

Assassins 16U got on the board in the first inning. Sophia Centanni grounded out, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the first inning, North Bergen 18U tied things up at two. #7 grounded out, scoring one run.

Assassins 16U pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second Lily Nucera singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run and Vic Marconi singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Assassins 16U put up five runs in the fifth inning. Assassins 16U batters contributing to the big inning included Nucera, Marconi, Amelia Rebadavia, and Braylie LaFisca, all driving in runs in the inning.

LaFisca got the win for Assassins 16U. LaFisca surrendered four runs on five hits over four innings, striking out one and walking one.
