Tatumn Throws Shutout as Assassins 16U Defeats Staten Island Assassins

Tatumn Menzies had all the right stuff on Saturday for Assassins 16U, allowing zero runs and besting Staten Island Assassins by a score of 7-0

Assassins 16U secured the victory thanks to four runs in the third inning. Assassins 16U batters contributing to the big inning included Lily Nucera, Taylor Lalla, and Hayden Bauer, all driving in runs in the frame.

Assassins 16U opened up scoring in the first inning. Sophia Centanni singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

Assassins 16U notched four runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught came from a single by Nucera, a sacrifice fly by Lalla, and a groundout by Bauer.
