Assassins 16U wins contest against 16/18 Drury/Petonak on Saturday, 4-1

Assassins 16U fired up the offense in the first inning, when Taylor Lalla singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Braylie LaFisca led the Assassins 16U to victory in the circle. The pitcher went five innings, allowing one run on five hits, striking out two and walking one.

Sophie Turcios was in the pitcher’s circle for 16/18 Drury/Petonak. The bulldog allowed two hits and two runs over two innings, striking out four and walking one. Caroline Hutchinson threw two innings out of the bullpen.

Amelia Rebadavia, Lalla, Tatumn Menzies, and Sophia Centanni each collected one hit to lead Assassins 16U. Assassins 16U was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Centanni had the most chances in the field with eight.
