Jersey Assassins Gold 18U defeated Cage Academy 7-4 on Sunday.

Cage Academy got on the board in the first inning after #3 singled, scoring one run.

Sophia Centanni 2025 singled, which helped Jersey Assassins Gold 18U tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

Cage Academy took the lead in the top of the second. #2 singled, scoring two runs, to give Cage Academy the lead, 3-1.

Jersey Assassins Gold 18U jumped into the lead in the bottom of the second when Tatumn Menzies 2025 doubled, scoring two runs, and Rae Portadin 2025 laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run.

Jersey Assassins Gold 18U extended their early lead with two runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI doubles by Centanni 2025 and Brielle Perry 2026.

Menzies 2025 earned the win for Jersey Assassins Gold 18U. The righty surrendered six hits and four runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out two and walking one. #9 led things off in the circle for Cage Academy. They gave up seven hits and seven runs over four innings, striking out four and walking four.

Portadin 2025 and Centanni 2025 each drove in two runs for Jersey Assassins Gold 18U. Centanni 2025 led Jersey Assassins Gold 18U with two hits in two at bats.
