Big First Inning Leads EL1TE- LAYNER Past Jersey Assassins 16U

EL1TE- LAYNER scored five runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat Jersey Assassins 16U 9-1 on Wednesday.

EL1TE- LAYNER jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Mackenzie Wilfert singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, an error scored two runs, and Lexi Schleissing singled, scoring one run.

EL1TE- LAYNER added one run in the third after Schleissing singled.

Braylie LaFisca 2025 took the loss for Jersey Assassins 16U. The starting pitcher went four innings, giving up nine runs (four earned) on 12 hits, striking out three and walking none. Brooklynn Morton stepped in the circle first for EL1TE- LAYNER. They allowed three hits and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out one and walking two.

Sophia Centanni 2025, Amelia Rebadavia 2025, and Giavanna Kanaris 2025 each collected one hit for Jersey Assassins 16U. Katie Mulry 2024 led Jersey Assassins 16U with one run batted in.
