Late Score Costs Jersey Assassins 16U Against SJ Mayhem 18U

Jersey Assassins 16U stayed in it until the end, but SJ Mayhem 18U pulled away late in a 7-6 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at five with SJ Mayhem 18U batting in the top of the fifth when Monroe Willis (Hampton Commit) singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Despite the loss, Jersey Assassins 16U did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, SJ Mayhem 18U had nine hits on the way to victory.

Jersey Assassins 16U got things moving in the first inning. Sophia Centanni 2025 drove in one when Centanni 2025 doubled.

Brooke Joslin (2024) Millville led SJ Mayhem 18U with three hits in three at bats. SJ Mayhem 18U didn’t commit a single error in the field. Cooley (2024) Paul VI had the most chances in the field with one.
