Jersey Assassins 16U Downs Invasion Fastpitch Showcase, 7-3

Jersey Assassins 16U beat Invasion Fastpitch Showcase 7-3 on Thursday.

Invasion Fastpitch Showcase got things moving in the first inning, when Maci Strechay (2025) grounded out, scoring one run.

Jersey Assassins 16U pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning. In the second Abbie Villanueva 2024 singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run and Tatumn Menzies 2025 singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Jersey Assassins 16U notched three runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by Jersey Assassins 16U was led by Taylor Lalla 2025, Amelia Rebadavia 2025, and Villanueva 2024, who all drove in runs.

Braylie LaFisca 2025 was the winning pitcher for Jersey Assassins 16U. The lefthander allowed four hits and one run over three innings, striking out four and walking zero. Menzies 2025 threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Menzies 2025 recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Jersey Assassins 16U.

Laney Wilson (2025) was in the pitcher’s circle for Invasion Fastpitch Showcase. The bulldog surrendered five runs on four hits over two innings, striking out one. Aubrey Gahman (2025) threw three and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.
