LaFisca Throws No-Hitter As Assassins 16U Triumphs Over Wycoff Raiders

Braylie LaFisca was brilliant in the pitcher’s circle on Sunday, as LaFisca threw a no-hitter to lead Assassins 16U past Wycoff Raiders 6-1.

Wycoff Raiders fired up the offense in the first inning, when LaFisca’s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Wycoff Raiders.

Assassins 16U knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the third inning, when LaFisca hit a solo homer.

Assassins 16U pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Rae Portadin doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run and LaFisca doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Assassins 16U put up three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Taylor Lalla and Katie Mulry.

LaFisca was in the circle for Assassins 16U. The southpaw lasted seven innings, allowing zero hits and one run while striking out 13 and walking zero.
