Assassins 16U Claims Lead in Seventh Inning to Defeat Lenape Valley

Assassins 16U snatched the lead late in the game in a 4-3 victory over Lenape valley on Sunday in the championship game of the Thanksgiving Feast tournament. The game was tied at three with Assassins 16U batting in the top of the seventh when Rae Portadin’s sac fly scored one run for Assassins 16U.

Braylie LaFisca was the winning pitcher for Assassins 16U. LaFisca went seven innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out four.

4 started the game for Lenape valley. The hurler lasted seven innings, allowing eight hits and four runs while striking out one.

Assassins 16U launched one home run on the day. Lily Nucera had a four bagger in the third inning.
