Assassins 16U Stays Scrappy In Loss To PA Xtreme Red 18U

Assassins 16U’s effort to come back from down four runs in the third inning came up just short, as they fell 5-4 to PA Xtreme Red 18U on Sunday. Assassins 16U scored four runs in the failed comeback on a double by Taylor Lalla and a home run by Amelia Rebadavia.

Assassins 16U was right in it until PA Xtreme Red 18U singled in the fifth inning.

PA Xtreme Red 18U got things moving in the second inning, when Karli Butler grounded out, scoring one run.

Assassins 16U knotted the game up at four in the bottom of the fourth inning. Rebadavia homered on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Assassins 16U tallied four runs in the fourth inning. Lalla and Rebadavia each had RBIs in the big inning.

Taylor Hendricks was in the circle for PA Xtreme Red 18U. The fireballer went seven innings, allowing four runs on eight hits, striking out three and walking zero.

Braylie LaFisca was in the pitcher’s circle for Assassins 16U. LaFisca lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out three and walking zero. Tatumn Menzies threw one inning in relief.

Assassins 16U tallied one home run on the day. Rebadavia went deep in the fourth inning.

Bella Nucera led Assassins 16U with two hits in two at bats.

PA Xtreme Red 18U tallied eight hits. Hendricks and Chloe Becker all had multiple hits for PA Xtreme Red 18U. PA Xtreme Red 18U was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Hendricks made the most plays with four.
