Assassins 16U Outdone by Kraze Elite 18U, 9-4

Kraze Elite 18U got things started in the first inning. Kraze Elite 18U scored three runs when Megan DaCunha homered.

In the bottom of the first inning, Assassins 16U tied things up at three. Vic Marconi grounded out, scoring one run.

Kraze Elite 18U pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Brianna Estevez hit a solo homer and Melany Sena singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Kraze Elite 18U scored three runs in the fourth inning. Kraze Elite 18U’s big inning was driven by a single by Desirae Acevedo and a home run by Estevez.

Cameron Kelly was in the circle for Kraze Elite 18U. The righthander allowed two hits and four runs over five innings, striking out eight.

Tatumn Menzies toed the rubber for Assassins 16U. Menzies surrendered nine runs on 12 hits over five innings, striking out four and walking one.

Kraze Elite 18U smacked three home runs on the day. DaCunha put one out in the first inning. Estevez had a long ball in the third and fourth innings.

Menzies and Marconi all had one hit to lead Assassins 16U.

Kraze Elite 18U collected 12 hits on the day. Estevez, DaCunha, Gabbie Montalvo, Dylan DaCunha, and Sena each racked up multiple hits for Kraze Elite 18U. Kraze Elite 18U didn’t commit a single error in the field. Kelly had one chances in the field, the most on the team.
