Assassins 16U Grabs Lead in Fourth Inning for Victory Over Rake Softball 18U

Assassins 16U snatched the lead late in the game in an 8-3 victory over Rake Softball 18U on Saturday. Assassins 16U trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Braylie LaFisca singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Rake Softball 18U got on the board in the first inning when Ryleigh Lilly tripled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Tatumn Menzies led the Assassins 16U to victory in the circle. The righthander allowed five hits and three runs over four innings, striking out two.

Maddie Velez was in the pitcher’s circle for Rake Softball 18U. Velez surrendered eight runs on eight hits over three and a third innings, striking out six.

Amelia Rebadavia went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Assassins 16U in hits.

Rake Softball 18U collected five hits. Lilly and Lindsey Rooney all had multiple hits for Rake Softball 18U.
