Assassins 16U Downs PA Xtreme Red 18U, 6-2

Assassins 16U defeated PA Xtreme Red 18U 6-2 on Saturday.

PA Xtreme Red 18U opened up scoring in the first inning, when Taylor Hendricks grounded out, scoring one run.

Assassins 16U pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Lily Nucera singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run and Taylor Lalla singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Braylie LaFisca got the win for Assassins 16U. The lefty allowed five hits and two runs over six innings, striking out five and walking zero.

Karli Butler was in the circle for PA Xtreme Red 18U. The pitcher went five innings, allowing six runs on seven hits and striking out three.

Lalla went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Assassins 16U in hits.
