Assassins 16U Claims Lead in Fourth Inning to Defeat Kaiser PA Patriots 18U

Assassins 16U took the lead late and defeated Kaiser PA Patriots 18U 2-1 on Sunday. The game was tied at one with Assassins 16U batting in the bottom of the fourth when Taylor Lalla doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Braylie LaFisca struck out three, while Juilanna Flanagan sat down two.

In the bottom of the second inning, Assassins 16U tied things up at one. A sacrifice bunt by LaFisca scored one run for Assassins 16U.

Assassins 16U pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning.

LaFisca led things off in the pitcher’s circle for Assassins 16U. The lefthander went six innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out three and walking zero.

Flanagan started the game for Kaiser PA Patriots 18U. Flanagan allowed five hits and two runs over five innings, striking out two and walking one.

Vic Marconi, Sophia Centanni, Rae Portadin, Tatumn Menzies, and Lalla each collected one hit to lead Assassins 16U.

Kaiser PA Patriots 18U didn’t commit a single error in the field. Flanagan had one chances in the field, the most on the team.
