Jersey Assassins 16U Takes Victory Over Maryland Heat Black 16U, 6-1

Jersey Assassins 16U scores more runs than Maryland Heat Black 16U, takes victory on Friday to the tune of 6-1

Jersey Assassins 16U got things started in the first inning when Brooke Bauer doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Jersey Assassins 16U pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Bauer grounded out, scoring one run and an error scored one run for Jersey Assassins 16U.

Jersey Assassins 16U put up three runs in the fifth inning. Jersey Assassins 16U’s big bats in the inning were led by singles by Katie Mulry and Sophia Centanni.

Braylie LaFisca earned the victory on the rubber for Jersey Assassins 16U. The lefthander surrendered one run on six hits over six innings, striking out three.

Amanda Simensky led things off in the pitcher’s circle for Maryland Heat Black 16U. The hurler lasted five innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out one.
