High Scoring Game Leaves Jersey Assassins 16U Overtaken By NJ Cheetahs Voluntad 14U

Jersey Assassins 16U’s bats were strong against NJ Cheetahs Voluntad 14U on Saturday, but it wasn’t enough as Jersey Assassins 16U fell 10-6.

In the bottom of the first inning, NJ Cheetahs Voluntad 14U tied things up at three. Gianna A grounded out, scoring one run.

NJ Cheetahs Voluntad 14U pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Lucia singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run and Bella singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Jersey Assassins 16U notched three runs in the fifth inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Brooke Bauer and Braylie LaFisca.

NJ Cheetahs Voluntad 14U scored four runs in the fourth inning. Cali Taylor, Cassidy, and Olivia all drove in runs in the frame.

Gabby was on the rubber for NJ Cheetahs Voluntad 14U. The fireballer lasted three innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out five and walking one.

LaFisca was in the circle for Jersey Assassins 16U. LaFisca allowed 13 hits and ten runs over five innings, striking out two and walking one.

Bauer led Jersey Assassins 16U with two hits in three at bats.

NJ Cheetahs Voluntad 14U racked up 13 hits. Amanda Jupinka, Taylor, Olivia, and Gianna I each racked up multiple hits for NJ Cheetahs Voluntad 14U. NJ Cheetahs Voluntad 14U was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Gabby had the most chances in the field with two.
