TNT Captures Lead Early to Defeat Jersey Assassins 16U

Jersey Assassins 16U watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 4-2 loss to TNT on Saturday. TNT took the lead on a walk in the first inning.

TNT got on the board in the first inning when #9 drew a walk, scoring one run.

TNT scored three runs in the second inning. TNT’s big inning was driven by singles by #20 and #35 and an error on a ball put in play by #24.

1 got the start for TNT. The bulldog lasted five innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out four.

Braylie LaFisca was on the rubber for Jersey Assassins 16U. The southpaw went four innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out three.

Emily Wojtowicz, LaFisca, Kylie Elefante, and Taylor Lalla each collected one hit to lead Jersey Assassins 16U.

TNT was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. #1 had the most chances in the field with one.
