PA Chaos 16u Runs Away With Early Lead in Victory

Jersey Assassins 16U watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 11-5 loss to PA Chaos 16u on Saturday. PA Chaos 16u took the lead on a home run in the first inning.

The Jersey Assassins 16U struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing PA Chaos 16u, giving up 11 runs.

In the first inning, PA Chaos 16u got their offense started when Dakota Fanelli homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Jersey Assassins 16U notched three runs in the fourth inning. Jersey Assassins 16U’s big bats in the inning were led by singles by Emily Wojtowicz, Sophia Centanni, and Brooke Bauer.

PA Chaos 16u scored four runs in the second inning. Olivia Clee, Sophia Pintinalli, Alyssa Sterner, and Maura Yoos all drove in runs in the frame.

Kayla Mitchell led things off in the pitcher’s circle for PA Chaos 16u. The righty allowed five hits and two runs over three innings, striking out four and walking one.

Braylie LaFisca was in the pitcher’s circle for Jersey Assassins 16U. The pitcher went two innings, allowing nine runs on ten hits and walking zero. Wojtowicz threw three innings in relief.

Bauer led Jersey Assassins 16U with three hits in three at bats.

PA Chaos 16u tallied 12 hits on the day. Yoos, Pintinalli, and Allie Franck all managed multiple hits for PA Chaos 16u. PA Chaos 16u was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Mitchell made the most plays with two.
